Other Dark Sky Sites: Walnut Point
What is it?
Walnut Point State Park
is located about an hour south of Champaign in
one of darkest locations in the near vicinity. The site is the historical
location of a second UI Observatory, which is still standing, though no
telescopes are housed there anymore.
