My research interests include the study of the physical and chemical properties of interstellar molecular clouds, interstellar masers, and the development of instrumentation and techniques for radio astronomy. Recent work has concentrated on improved (Bayesian) statistical procedures for analyzing radio interferometry maps and other aspects of imaging problems. We use the CARMA millimeter array, developed jointly by the Universities of Illinois, Maryland, California (Berkeley), and Caltech.
